Men that want to take things slow do take things slow but slow doesn't mean they lack constancy in their approach, they don't go from hot to cold and don't leave you hanging with no reply to messages.

While I don't consider a single mom to be an absolute deal breaker, it is about as close as you can get. I just know we aren't right for one another. If you're already having misgivings about it, that's not good sign. It's worth a try. I don't wish ill will towards single moms, quite the opposite. I just went down that road a few too many times for me to be eager to do so again.

He probably likes the ego stroke that your best friend talking to him gives him. There's no point keeping someone in your life that ignores your feelings and/or deliberately makes you uncomfortable. She must know that it bothers you, but does it anyway because she enjoys the attention and competition and knows you won't say anything about it. This would irritate me a lot. If you are such good friends you should be able to tell her how you feel. but you can change the nature of the friendship by dropping the competition and trying to support and comfort one another instead... Not to say you should ditch her AT ALL, those long friendships are very important... from the sounds of the nature of your friendship it seems like they are BOTH trying to make you jealous. Why does she want to be friends with him anyway? Particularly since they weren't friends while you were dating..

looking for anything and people to hang out with and go places with i am interested in everything on their beside marraige unless we have alot in commo.
