I don't agree with much of the above, too many assumptions without knowing this individual and unique man. If you are into him, you could assume positive intentions, spend time with him and see what develops between you. Sure, he could be making excuses for pulling back.

I have been here for 5 months now and it has just made me so depressed it is unreal. My old mates that stayed are all waste of space drug addicts now, the mates that left started their own lives elsewhere, i want to meet a girl but my confidence is getting reduced, its being the longest ever time without being with a girl, i have nothing to come home to on the weekends and spend 90% of my time attempting to make friends in the gym because my friends are either in families, drugged up or with new mates. We stopped speaking though, i moved jobs back home but in my own apartment.
