Before this next incident, she said she is not ready to get back together. I told her to think about it, and I could tell in her body language that she had feelings for me still, but I could tell that she didn't know what to do. She was shocked, and wondered why I didn't tell her that when we were together, I told her I was afraid of what she would think. Last week we had a talk, and I flat out told her that I loved her, and thats where everything went weird. I told her that in order for me to get over her, we would have to cut off any contact, but she still wanted to be friends. After a week or two I found out that there was more to that, with one of the reasons that I didn't show my feelings toward her as much as I should. I told her I would like a second chance (I gave her a second chance after she cheated on me a year before that) and she didn't know if she was ready for that. We dated for a year and a half, and i never told her that I loved her, and really didn't open up as much as I should have. So about a month ago, my ex gf and I broke up, saying it was a mutual break up simply because we didn't see each other a whole lot. She said that she did love me when we were together. After this very emotional talk, full of crying and discussion, we ended up snuggling in bed (no sex) and she said she missed doing that.

If you really want a relationship again with her, you have to repair the trust.
