It wouldn't even occur to us to do that. We've both been married once before and even have pics of ex-spouses. Neither one of us have ever asked the other to get rid of them.

Having a guy tag along all the time will get you nowhere! And learn to give hints to guys you're interested in if you're such a chicken to talk. Stop hanging on to your friend's arm and maybe you'll get approached. As well as learn to go to certain places alone or at best with one female type friend.

Why did I stay? He just knew if we stayed together, he'd miss me more and fall for me more than he already had and it would make him more miserable since I wasn't in the same city. He just broke up with me. I never felt neglected. He said he already has intimacy issues and the distance doesn't help make it any easier. He felt the same way. Because we were wonderful until the break.

The "right" thing to do no longer really matters. There's no real way to make that better for your friend; she'll either be okay with it or she won't. You've already chosen to date him. But since you're already dating him, what can you really do?
