After all, you're not putting yourself in situations where others can notice you. And if people don't know that you exist, then it's kinda hard for you to date. If you never leave the house then you're pretty much undateable.

One day everything is great, affectionate etc, and then they go cold or the communication dries up. However, The benefit of the doubt doesn't last long for me, if they go flaky more than once, then I just pull back and do my own thing. That is tough. However, I've learned that if someone is truly into you, they will make the time to go out or talk. I've dated girls who have done the hot/cold. Now sometimes it's legitimate, they might be busy, stressed, tired etc and might just not be in the mood to talk.

Take a canoe trip - just you and her. Travel downtown, do a horse-drawn carriage. Hit some expensive restaurants (like The Melting Pot) JUST for dessert late on night. Add short, fun trips into the mix. Go hiking for the day. Give her a real dining experience....like a murder mystery theatre, dinner trains, etc.
