That aside, I have HEARD of people meeting on this forum and meeting IRL, but I don't have firsthand knowledge of it and think it's pretty rare. Then meeting IRL? It's for people to connect and give/get advice about dating in general. There seems to be some confusion. This forum actually was not designed to be a dating site. I want someone who will stick beside me through thick and thi. I have had many friends that I thought were good friends that ended up leaving for stupid reasons.

Since it was so hard for us, I told her that I didn't want to drag her to a dead end relationship and try and be friends. Anyway, this relationship went on for 7 months. She agreed, but after some time we started meeting again on and off though we weren't officially a couple. My parents didn't like the idea of me being with her due to different cultural background (religion, politics etc). This has beeing going on, and during this time I had been desperately trying to break off my parents but with no luck as I could only land low sallary temporary jobs. Then we both came back to our country (we were from Continental Europe, studying at UK) and kept seeing each other for some time.

Next thing i know he tells me he found a girlfriend (2 months later). we had lots of fun together for about 7 months, then all of a sudden he stopped calling me - our communication became strained for no reason. We met as potential business partners but quickly became attracted to each other. i never saw where he lived but he'd come to my place whenever we did hang. he would say that he loves me or wants to chill with me but would never come around or say he was busy. things between us was eerily similar - our thoughts, upbringing, logic - we even felt what each other was feeling at the time we were feeling it and acknowldeged it - and then get spooked out. We were starting a company with a groupd of people. this was his baby, after meetings we would chill out and talk. we got into small arguements about communicating honestly. we had an instant soulmate-ish kind of connection.
