It's not to argue with people - it's to provide advice to people who are seeking some ideas on how to deal with their problems. Maybe you're missing the point of this board.

Don't think most of us have noble intentions on staying with one woman. Don't worry though, we men don't care about women's competitive and narcissistic ways, simply because most of us view you as objects and commodities we can eventually replace when you get past the expiry date (35) for a newer model UNLESS we ourselves are unattractive OR bogged down with children.

Honestly, in the future I would much rather someone doesn't date me at all if they think that I am chubby or not that attractive....

Think less of a stressful argument indicative of relationship problems and more about getting a fat, black eye and having no friends left to turn towards for help. I believe the sentiment being expressed here is that they're going to doom your happiness and autonomy.

Hopefully you find that person too. For a very long time I was afraid of being in a relationship period. It was really hard for me to find someone I deemed worth of taking the risk.

The other "sluttier" girls don't give all that much of a challenge, it might even feel like public transportation...you take it if you have to, but it's not your first choice, and more importantly there's no real conquest sleeping with a girl that sleeps around on occasion or on a regular basis because by comparison that's "easy"..nothing for an aspiring player to gain from that, ego wise.
