This woman has behaved in what I know I would consider to be an unacceptable way: unstable, irrational, with undisclosed issues that you don't get to know about but you have to deal with. Not a good person to have in one's life. Not cool. What we can do is know where our boundaries lie, and maintain them. We can't make another person "see the light," recognize their own deep feelings, overcome their own fears and doubts. As Tony and others in this forum continually point out, we can only be responsible for our own actions.

I also know her guy friend (he's gay, so no chance in him hooking up with her) who she was with, he also ended up never responding after saying they were leaving for another bar, if that matters. She never responded. Was texting girl a decent bit earlier tonight, primarily about if/where she was going out tonight. Should I take anything from this? I texted her back about 20 mins later, asking what bar th went to. She texted me what bar she was at, but also said they were probably leaving for another bar soon.
