I was going to talk to my mom about it, but she will probably say that he's not good enough for me, or she doesn't like him. What do you guys think that I should do? I don't know whether or not I should go.

Her attitude now only kind of reinforces your opinions. If i was entirely off point i'd expect to be wiped off her map. I'm prone to overthink, but i'd think that means she knows what she did and is happy to sweep it under the rug. I guess i was struck pretty badly when she started showing those signs. I guess the only thing i regret is my tactless approach. We're not an official couple at all, but she has treated me as the most important person in her life and wanted contact more or less through the entire days. She acts as if nothing has happened.
