Maybe you should just accept that we are humans and have different needs or wants and stop judging women. If what you want is someone that is "virtuous" then that is your perogative and there is no problem with that.

I found out that he wasn't completely over her while we dated. I once dated a guy for about 2 months. During those two months, he was messing around with his ex-gf--physically, talking to her constantly, things like that.

Be wary although I don't know that I'd write him off entirely. My ex cheated on me, and he's been cheating on his current girlfriend since they started going out (first with me, now with random girls). My ex certainly didn't tell me if he'd cheated on his ex before me and he didn't tell the girl he is dating now until he got caught. I don't know if he cheated on his girlfriend before me but that was in high school about five years before we met.
