Why do you assume that just because a guy is taking it slow he's just restraining himself when maybe you're just a convenient person to date and someone he is comfortable with? You basically just seem to be driving this whole thing and he's just along for the ride since it's OK, and maybe he has no one else he is dating or interested in at the time. How do you tell yourself that a guy is interested in you when you have to do all the work? Where do you draw the line?

As long as the both of you are happy together more power to you. All you need is a wedding ring and you're all set! Well, I see nothing wrong with this.

This sort of thing, in my opinion, is a dead giveaway. I've seen this type of re-rationalization too many times when someone is trying to cover their ass. -However, the fact that a seemingly innocuous story had to be re-fabricated a few times to be fully plausible is a huge, huge red flag.

I'd pay attention to the advice and comments from men who have dated older women, who have the actual experience to speak of, and leave it at that. The younger guys on here haven't a clue. If googling statistics is all you can provide to support an opinion, I have to laugh.
