Probably because they have too much choice. Can't make up her mind. When I was 17 we had to pick a career that would pay the bills and there was no chichi about finding a work that would 'fulfilled' us. The 35 and under are a very indecisive generation. My daughter who's 30 has 3 different degrees as well.

In my current R, my BF has several close female friends. They all know about me and life is good. I have no problems with any of the friendships. I totally trust that he can be friends with these women and it will not have some kind of negative impact on our relationship and I don't think he would ever cheat with any of them. His female friends, who are only and who have always been only friends, he still talks to, though perhaps not as frequently. Prior to our relationship he was also staying in contact with a few women from casual relationships. Once we were committed he stopped contact with the women he had dated or had some kind of romantic involvement with.
